The moment you woke up this morning, your brain was already in motion.
Unconsciously, it was searching for problems — looking for what is lacking today, finding things to be anxious about.
But that is not your fault.
The human brain was designed tens of thousands of years ago to prioritize searching for scarcity and danger just to survive.
However, if you remain in that state, your heart will begin to wither.
That is why, today, I want you to pick up this Magatama.
Over the next 28 days, we will begin Attuning — the process of rewriting your brain's filter.
The method is simple.
Count 10 fragments of gratitude for things that already exist in your life.
Why count ten instead of writing them down?
It is to forcefully activate a function of the brain called the RAS (Reticular Activating System) and steer it toward happiness.
As you feel the physical weight of the Magatama in your hand, let those ten "thank yous" soak deep into your brain.
It's going to be okay.
Starting today, your brain will begin changing into a genius at finding abundance.
Hold your Magatama. Feel its weight.
Count 10 things that already exist in your life — 10 fragments of gratitude.
For each one: "I am grateful for ___ because ___"
For example:
"I am grateful for my morning coffee because before I think anything, there is warmth."
"I am grateful for my mother because every time she picks up the phone, I remember she is still here."
"I am grateful for this quiet five minutes because it is the one moment today that belongs entirely to me."
Now — 10 of yours.
